Laws §54M, and piercings with or without a metal implant of metal, wood or other material. Temporary piercing shall be considered temporary piercings, and shall not be considered permanent piercings or body art when applying for and receiving the tax incentive. Permanent piercing shall include but not be limited to: 4. Permanent body art; 5. Tattoos and markings that do not require removal under Mass. Gen. Laws §54M. Tattoos and markings that do not require removal (as defined in the regulations at §1120.1B) shall not be considered body art, and shall not be considered permanent body art. Tattoos and markings that require the removal of body art shall be considered body art, and shall be considered permanent body art on and after July 1, 2019, and on and after July 1, 2024. 6. Tattooed arms, legs, bibs, and Scarves, except undergarments.
